Got picked up at our hotel in Sendona on time. Meet up with Steve our guide and the other tour guest that traveled with us as we headed north towards the grand Canyon. Steve was very informative pointing out some great sites and telling you some great stories about the different areas as we traveled up past Flagstaff. We made our first stop in a little roadside village that had snacks hand made jewelry and other food and unique souvenirs. We then started to head into the east end of the park. It was beautiful how it changed from different types of landscapes until we got to the first overlook of the Canyon. When you looked out it was hard to take in almost seemed like it wasn't real. Steve was fantastic narrating and answering our questions as we went to about 5 or 6 overlooks. Our group was also great never felt hurried and all very friendly too. Helping take pics or pointing different things out. We than stop at another village where we ate. Great place they had 5 different stations

The van trip and canyon tour was EXCELLENT. Our guide J.R. was amazing and made the experience fantastic. He had many interesting stories and took us to many great sites. Very well done. The reason I rate this as only good was the train ride was not all that. It was ok, but we also felt like we were getting shaken down for tips the entire ride, including a staged train robbery that lacked fun. Maybe if we had little kids it would have been alright. At any rate I would recommend skipping the train part and just sticking with the guide.

Enjoyable ride, but not as scenic as I had pictured. Told that no food or beverage was available at this time, but there was a complementary breakfast with a great muffin, string cheese, and yogurt. All the non-alcoholic beverages you wanted. Some useful, fun facts and some entertainment along the route.

We loved our experience! Our guide Matt was very knowledgeable, we learned so much from him. Our teenagers were very tuned into the information he was providing. The transportation was very clean and safe. We were provided with plenty of water and hand sanitizer throughout our tour.

Our van guide, Steve, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The train ride was ok. I’m not sure it was worth the expense. The ‘entertainment ‘ was marginal. I’m glad we only did the train one way. Hence 4 stars and not 5.
