Overall rating

We loved everything about the tour. Roberto qas our chauffeur and also tour guide en route. He was so nice and knowledgeable about Spain and its history, past and present. It is a long trip but we didn’t feel it since we were conversing about everything. We met Lucía in Avila, Teresa in Segovia and Luis in Toledo. We honestly can’t say who we liked better. All of them loved their cities, its history and had little stories/legends which they shared with us. Most important, all of them made us feel as long time friends…specially Luis in Toledo. Can’t finish without saying that lunch at Meson de Candido was very good (judiones, cochinillo asado, ponche). I highly recommend this tour, specially with this marvelous group of tour guides.

An excellent day trip from Madrid. Yes, this is a long day. But, overall well-balanced with enough time for sightseeing and time to relax in the vehicle. Both Ávila and Salamanca are lovely cities. (And I’ve been to Segovia and Toledo which are more common day trips from Madrid and enjoyed Ávila and Salamanca more.) Our driver and both city guides were wonderful. Highest ratings—from highly experienced world travelers (more than 60 counties and all 7 continents). First time we used Get Your Guide and we will be back.

This tour was outstanding! Ruben our driver was on time and a very good driver. All our tour guides were wonderful and very knowledgeable. The tour is a little long and by end of day you’re exhausted but all the beauty and history in each town were just amazing. Each town has its own charm! Would definitely recommend!

I want to particularly thank and recommend GET YOUR GUIDE for the treatment, the service, the kindness and the SOLUTION of problems. ABSOLUTELY RELIABLE, PROFESSIONAL AND ALWAYS but ALWAYS: FIRST the CUSTOMER. I will continue to use GET YOUR GUIDE services for any trip I take. EXCELLENT treatment and service.
