This tour will take you to Kuala Selangor in the quiet hamlet of Kampung Kuantan, where one of the largest firefly colonies in the world exists. When you arrive, you'll visit Kota Melawati, formerly known as Fort Altingsburg, with its old execution block, royal mausoleum and colonial buildings. You'll experience the highlight of the tour at Kampung Kuantan. At first, this sparkly display looks like an endless row of Christmas trees, but the synchronized, rhythmic flashing is actually produced by thousands of fireflies. Depart Kuala Lumpur and journey to Taman Negara National Park following early morning pickup from your hotel. Enjoy the amazing views on the scenic drive past typical kampung (village) houses. Upon arrival at Kuala Tahan, receive your entry permit and camera license. Walk the Canopy Walkway, the world's longest hanging bridge, and trek to Teresek Hill. After lunch, set off on a boat ride to Rapid Shooting heading towards Tembeling River. Finally, visit the Orang Asli village followed by a late afternoon departure back to Kuala Lumpur.

Travel with a driver in a private vehicle as you stop at 7 locations which cover all the major attractions in the area. First, visit Putra Mosque and go inside the prayer hall and function rooms known for their elegant features. See the elegant courtyard with a border of impressive colonnades.  Stop at Perdana Putra, the prime minister’s office which boasts views of central Putrajaya. Marvel at the architecture which has been influenced by Malay, Islam, and Western cultures.  Continue on to the main city square and the Palace of Justice, a majestic building known locally as Istana Kehakiman which is the center of judiciary work of Malaysia. See the Millennium Monument, also called Monumen Alaf Baru, a towering gold/bronze structure that is a major landmark in Putrajaya. 

You will be picked up from your hotel in central Kuala Lumpur and driven to Kuala Selangor, approximately 1.5 hours away. Kuala Selangor is a small village on the banks of the Selangor River. The village is well-known, as you can find millions of fireflies there.   Upon arrival you’ll visit Bukit Melawati, where Fort Altingsburg is located. A lighthouse strands on top of the hill, surrounded by tall trees. Look out for local birds, silvered leaf monkeys and long-tailed macaques. You’ll head to a nearby fishing village for a typical seafood dinner before making your way to Kampung Kuantan.   At around 6:30 PM you’ll board a boat and row along the river to see the fireflies. Millions of fireflies present you with a dazzling display of lights flickering in synchrony, that resemble twinkling electric lights on a Christmas tree. You will be dazzled at the sight. At 8:30 PM, you’ll depart from Kuala Selangor and drive back to Kuala Lumpur in the comfort of a private vehicle.

See the picturesque landscape unfold beneath you aboard the Awana SkyWay, a gondola lift system serving Genting Highlands. Delight in the stunning, 360-degree views of the 130 million-year-old rainforest below. Feel the coolness of the crisp mountain air, as the cabins are outfitted with special windows and louvers for the ultimate high flying experience. Charge your phone in the gondola if you've drained your phone's battery taking photos and selfies. Disembark at the midway point, and pay a visit to the Chin Swee Caves Temple, a Taoist temple set on a 28-acre plot of rocky forested land that was erected in honor of Buddhist monk and Reverend Master Chin Swee from the Fujian Province. Then, reboard the cable car and continue to your final destination.  This trip is a one-way ticket and you can make your journey from Awana Station to SkyAvenue Station with a stop at Chin Swee Station, or vice versa.

This is the country’s administrative center and was named after its first prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra. Relax and enjoy the scenic 45-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur. Your first stop on this 4-hour tour will be at the Taman Warisan Agricultural Heritage Park, which is a living museum of fruit, rubber, cocoa, palm oil, herbs, and more. See a demonstration of the rubber manufacturing process from the point of tapping the tree. Afterwards, you’ll continue on to see some of Putrajaya’s most famous landmarks, including the pink-domed Putra Mosque. Fashioned from beautiful rose granite, the monument rises 250 feet into the air and is one of the tallest landmarks in the region. Next you’ll visit Perdana Putra, the prime minister’s office. Known as the White House of Malaysia, this imposing building is home to several key government agencies. Before making your way back to your drop off point, you’ll pass by the Sepang Formula 1 Race Circuit that’s widely recognized as one of the top circuits on earth.
