Mallorca: South Coast Sightseeing Tour with Transfer & Snack

2. Mallorca: South Coast Sightseeing Tour with Transfer & Snack

This route will take you to the southern part of the island, where you'll find the most rugged coastline of the island, with impressive cliffs that you'll approach to take amazing pictures. The route offers an interesting perspective on the history of this area of Mallorca, in which you'll delve into the character of Joan March and the legends of smugglers that abounded in this area at the beginning of the 20th century. This guided tour lasts approximately 5 hours, includes 2 snacks of typical Mallorcan products, and covers 90 kilometers through the southeast of the island of Mallorca, from Son Oms to Playa del Trenc, one of the most iconic beaches on the island. Your first stop on the route to the cliffs is the Finca de Son Mut, a peculiar place where you'll stop to see the world's largest fig tree experimentation field. There are 1,724 fig trees of more than 830 different varieties from all over the world. The second stop is Possibly one of the wildest corners of Mallorca and one of the most impressive balconies on the coast. The Cap Blanc lighthouse was built in 1862 and is possibly one of the most beautiful lighthouses on Mallorca. The lighthouse, which is still in operation and under public management, cannot be visited inside, but you can walk around it to admire this window to the Mediterranean while you take photos and enjoy a freshly baked ensaimada. On your way to the Salinas d'Es Trenc, you'll come across another unmissable site, the tower of Cala Pi, and the cliff that leads down to the famous beach of Cala Pi, with its turquoise, crystal-clear water. Your last stop will be at the Es Trenc salt marshes, an idyllic spot where you can see the ponds in which the concentration of salt in the water is increased. A representative of the salt-producing company will give you an illustrative talk on how the salt works and the different stages of the process until the salt that reaches our tables is obtained. The visit ends after tasting the delicious Quelitas biscuits with cheese.

We were looking for an experience in a boat that would allow us to swim in open sea but near the shore. With Magic Catamaran we did that twice. The first after saying for a bit more than an hour. We stopped near a beach Es Caragol (also more than an hour) that we could reach swimming, had very few people, mostly walkers. In that same spot, the crew served us lunch which included grilled sausages, skewers, chicken breast, salad and pasta. We swam for another 10/20m after that and were presented with watermelon and a typical cake from Mallorca when coming aboard. We then sailed some more and stopped near Es Trenc, but with only 20m to dive and swim, then came back to Sant Jordi. The crew was really nice and have a cool playlist. You have the possibility to drink champagne, vodka and other alcoholic drinks aboard, which are not included in the price. The trip lasted for 5h, as described, my timeline may not be accurate but you really loose track of time when having fun :)

Absolutely positive experience and organized to perfection. With the boat, they took us to a couple of wonderful spots where we stopped for an hour each to swim. The lunch itself was plentiful, with even fruit and dessert and all drinks included (even sangria and wine). The staff then decidedly competent and kind (which is not obvious). The price, for all of this, was great. I absolutely recommend it

Excellent activity, with a stop at two beautiful beaches, peaceful atmosphere on board the Catamaran, reasonable food, they just need to improve the cooling of the drinks, because they ended up getting a little warm.

The trip very pleasant if it were not for the incredible excess of passengers you almost lay on top of the feet of others.

In short, simply recommended! A great experience... dreamlike water and super cool crew. Worth every penny!
