What people are saying about Sete Cidades

We enjoyed our tour to see Sete Cidades. The countryside is beautiful on the way to the lakes. Due to an iffy weather forecast we were contacted about joining another tour one day earlier. We were able to make the change and appreciate the effort to help us have a good experience. We recommend booking this excursion early in your trip so there's time to adjust for bad weather. I had jacket with a hood which was helpful when the weather got windy and chilly as we gained altitude. We experienced almost all four seasons and a little drizzle on our ride but it was fun. Come prepared for rain and chill, there's room for your backpack on the lead vehicle. Sete Cidades was a bit overcast but we could still see the lakes, and driving around the crater rim is awesome. My husband and I each had our own Quad because I wanted to drive as well. Have fun!

THIS IS THE TOUR YOU MUST CHOOSE. Not only do you get amazing views, but get the liberating and fun opportunity to ride a quad through them. The instructor is amazing, he provides historical knowledge and makes you feel very comfortable. Whether it’s your first time or you ride quad often, you will love this event.

Philip is an amazing guide, super knowledgeable about the island's history and nature and eager to make the tour comfortable and unforgettable for his guests. There were just the 4 of us in a 4wd car and he took us to the nicest viewpoints and stopped whenever we wanted to take a picture.

Our experience with Philip gave us the chance to see a lot while feeling some adrenaline. This guide was friendly and seem to enjoy showing us around. He explained clearly how to use the equipment before we started!

This tour was AWESOME, it’s a must do, lots of beautiful things to see
