Really well organised trip which visited really excellent locations at a bargain price. Fuji views were awesome. We were left in no doubt as to what time to meet back at the mini bus too during stops. I would suggest though dropping the trip to the shopping outlet as it meant that those of us who went to the peace shrine instead had less time there and it was rushed. It also took nearly four hours to get back to Tokyo, which was a shame. This was caused by a car accident, so it was out of anyone's control.
Your tour departs from the Shinjuku Cocoon Tower at 8:30AM. From there you will get ready to set foot for the highest mountain in Japan, Mount Fuji. Registered by UNESCO as Cultural World Heritage not only in terms of natural beauty, Mount Fuji also provides beautiful culture. You can explore the whole area of the Subaru Line 5th Station, witnessing it all at your own pace. Then, continue with a buffet lunch at the Fuji Matsu View Restaurant. The restaurant offers delicious food and beverages, and will allow you to observe Mount Fuji at the same time. You will then enjoy a pirate ship ride at Lake Ashi, Hakone. The duration of the cruise is approximately 30 minutes, and while on the ship you will enjoy the panoramic views offered by the surrounding nature. Good value for money. We were very lucky to have an excellent full view of Mt Fuji the entire day. Among the places we went to Arakurayama Sengen Park was the best, Lake Kawaguchi came second, but it was a little too much time given to that place. Guide Ai was very polite; they provided disinfectant at the bus, which was very appropriate as I was a little nervous about going on a bus trip at the time of an outbreak. They changed the last stop to another village because the one on the original itinerary was temporarily closed. Overall it felt a little too long for such an easy tour, but I was satisfied thanks to great weather and perfect views of Mt Fuji.
Tour was fantastic! Naow was a great guide - informative, kind, great English, very helpful and went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves such as by being our personal photographer!! We were very lucky with the weather and had great views - would recommend checking the weather in advance to booking. Ps. At the lake, get bento boxes or the like from a 7 eleven and enjoy the views of the mountain whilst eating!! Better than the restaurant!
My private tour trough Tokio was just awesome. Together with my guide Yoshi we explored Tsujiki Fish Market, Meiji Shrine and also some local shops. She gave me so many insights about Japan, the culture and daily life that it felt like exploring the city with a friend. Great day. Great memories. Thanks for this experience!!!
This was a wonderful day trip with extraordinary sights of breathtaking Mt. Fugi. Even though our driver Was limited English speaking, (private van tour) he was kind and caring beyond belief.
The spots our guide took us to we're amazing. We took lots of pictures and hope to go back and see a few more.
