Start your tour by walking through the busy streets of Shinjuku heading straight for Omoide Yokocho (literally “Memory Lane”) as your first stop. Omoide Yokocho is rightfully named as it is littered with rustic bars from the 1950s. Anyone of the older generation will feel as if they stepped back in time to the middle of the 20th century. Many of these bars still stay true to their roots, serving roasted giblets with beef and pork, which was a staple when food was scarce after World War II. From there you will make your way to Kabukicho, Asia’s largest, yet safest, red light district stopping at a kushikatsu stall for some authentic regional cuisine called kushikatsu (specialty food from Osaka of deep-fried skewered meat and vegetables). Each of the guests will get 4 kushikatsu and 1 drink. From here you will walk through the rest of Kabukicho, weaving in and out to give guests a sense o...
The food and history lessons were great! The guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Only wish it had been easier to find the guide outside the station, but overall great experience!

Saya Christina was our host and she was amazing and our 10 & 8 year old boys fell in love with her. Saya was very knowledgeable and helpful with teaching us our navigation skills needed to get around to other activities after our time with her. We had such a good time at the Shrine and then visiting Harajuku and the Totti Candy factory. We finished our tour at the Shibuya Crossing and watched some people on a Mario Cart tour. I highly recommend using Saya she’s very fluent in English and is awesome with little ones. Thank you Saya for an amazing morning!
Set off from the meeting point and follow your guide (and photographer) on a nocturnal adventure through metropolitan Shinjuku. Your guide will give you tips on how to best take photos of the area, as well as snapping high-quality photos of you along the way. Arrive at the famous Scramble Crossing in Shibuya, take in the views from ground level as well as from high up. Start your 3-hour bar-hopping tour in Shinjuku’s Yakitori Alley, one of Tokyo's biggest nightlife districts. See tiny izakaya bars and food stalls offering grilled chicken, seafood and vegetables. During the tour, you'll be bar hopping throughout the city. Experience the backstreets of Tokyo and enjoy authentic street food like yakitori (chicken skewers), motsuni (Japanese stew) and grilled vegetables, along with local beer and Japanese sake. Head to the Kabukicho area and stop at 2 more bars. Visit the bright and lively food alleys in Shinjuku. Unknown to most visitors, this area is popular with local office workers, drinking in tiny bars with their colleagues after work.
Not just a drinking tour but also much information about the area and customs. Such a good tour. Thanks Tommy.
