This experience was incredible! My friends and I (20 year old females) loved it all and thought this hike was the perfect level of exertion, we definitely felt challenged at times but it was so doable. Ernesto was an amazing guide, and we loved our stop in Catania for Sicilian sandwiches as well. Running down mt Etna is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced!! If you’re an active person, you should be fine but this hike is definitely not an ‘easy walk’. A must do in Catania!

The company were excellent and more than helpful in getting us going. Our captain (pilot?) Otto was really knowledgeable about the sights you could see from the water, and made us feel very comfortable during our tour. I have nothing but good things to say, this was definitely the highlight of our trip

Would highly recommend this trip. It’s really off the beaten track, the guides give great insights and facts about the volcano and all round winner. The trek itself is challenging in places but it’s not really long so very doable. If you have weak ankles, wear supports! Thank you guys!!!

Stunning locations and a very knowledgeable English speaking guide.

The boat and the crew were amazing. Totally worth it.
