Full description

Explore the unique "Cotton Castles" of Pamukkale and go to the ruins of the ancient Greek-Roman city of Hierapolis on a full-day trip to one of Turkey’s most popular attractions. Start with a pickup in the early morning from your hotel in Side or Alanya and a drive to the Pamukkale Travertines.

Stop for a buffet lunch before entering Pamukkale. Explore the natural landscape of limpid pools, hot springs, and travertine, terraces of carbonate minerals left by flowing water. Take a swim in the pools and experience the waters for yourself. If you want, enter the Cleopatra Pool for an extra fee.

Then, walk through the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis. Visit the amphitheater and take unforgettable photos. After you've spent enough time wandering the site, meet back at the bus in the parking area. On the return journey to Slide, stop for dinner before arriving at your hotel in the evening.

even if the bus ride was in a comfortable large and went 5 hours, the tour itself was beautiful and exciting. 3 different languages in one bus but complete madness, because no tour guide explained it that way. Was more of a travel companion without information. a pity, but for Pamukkale and Salda Lake still 4 *, for the information only 1 *

The trip was very worthwhile. The photos you can shoot in Pamukkale are definitely something special. The transport from the hotel to the destination can take up to 4 hours depending on the hotel. The food was very good and the guide spoke very good English. However, you can skip the Kleopatra Therme, it was too warm for our standards and the objects in the pool can be uncomfortable.

Very long trip (for us 20h, depending on the pick up time. With us 4 a.m., drop off at midnight). Very nice, helpful guide (speaks German, English, Turkish & French). Surprisingly, we made a stop at Salda Lake in the morning (there was nothing about it in the tour description, but it was a nice stopover). Breakfast was pastries with normal prices. At noon there was a good, sufficient buffet. Dinner buffet was boring and poor, but it was enough. Pamukkale was very touristy & crowded. Cleopatra's bath wasn't for us because it was too crowded. If you can handle pools, you shouldn't have a problem with that. All in all a trip with a lot to see but also a lot of time on the bus. Finally, a stop at a jewelry store. That was the only unnecessary part of the tour. Otherwise satisfied and also feasible with children. Stay times could have been longer
