Full description
Depart Siem Reap and journey in comfort to the vast Angkor complex of temple ruins from the days of the Khmer Empire. Embark on a trip back in time as you marvel at the remains of the medieval city. Go to the small but charming temple of Pre Rup, one of the few remaining complete structures in the complex. Continue to the intricate, pink-colored temple of Banteay Srei (Citadel of Women), thought by many to be the work of the women of the Khmer Empire. Marvel at the ornate carvings on the tiny temples, located near the hill of Phnom Dei.  Make your way to one of the nearby restaurants and soak up your surroundings as you fill up on traditional curries, soups, or stir fries at your own expense. Then, spend the afternoon exploring the unique East Mebon, Ta Som, and Preah Khan temples, all built at different periods. Get a glimpse into the lives and rituals of the people that once inhabited this extraordinary space.

Sotin was our guide today who graciously showed us around the ruins of Angkor including Banteay Srei. Sotin was ever-attentive and spoke excellent English. Sotin always opened the door for us when we are getting into and out of the car. Lay was our driver who carried us in a comfortable air-conditioned Lexus. Overall I am impressed by the level of attentiveness and I would recommend their service to anyone!

Everything as scheduled. Visit the temples of Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som and East Mebon before a great lunch at a local restaurant with excellent quality and variety of choice and great prices. In the afternoon visit the temples of Pre Rup and Banteay Srei. Very varied tour and friendly and knowledgeable guide. We recommend this tour to anyone who wants to expand their knowledge outside the more famous Angkor Wat, Bayon, Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm.

Very informative and guide was excellent at keeping things moving. The restaurant choice was average but service was speedy and food was good. The pick up was a lot earlier than expected but Cambodia appears to be a very punctual nation. The guides are all brilliant at photography at the temples. A highlight of the day.
