Soon after pick up we will drive along the M5 and connect with the M4 via Muizenberg, St. James and Fish Hoek beaches located along the scenic False Bay coastline on our way to Boulder's Beach Penguins Colony. Passing through Muizenberg beach we will see the stretch of attractive colourful beach huts in the distance. Your tour guide will stop at St. James Beach for a few minutes to allow for some fun-filled photos with the colourful beach huts. We drive past Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek and Simon's Town beaches. We will stop at Boulder's Beach to visit the African Penguins colony and take a walk along the boardwalk to the official penguins colony location to see the penguins in their natural habitat. Boulder's penguins colony is home to approximately 3000 African Penguins who spend their days frolicking in the False Bay waters and parading on the granite Boulders. Our tour culminates with the highlight of the day: The Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point Nature Reserve. Take your photo behind the Cape of Good Hope name board and explore the nature reserve whilst the tour guide shares stories about the Bartholomew Dias and Vasco Da Gama beacons. See many a fauna and flora such as fynbos (fine bush), over 250 species of birds including ostriches, as well as buck, baboons and the Cape mountain zebra. This half-day tour, just outside Cape Town, allows you to see a variety of shark species throughout the year according to the seasons, weather, water temperature, and other factors. Venture to Seal Island or Cape Point to see seven-gill cow sharks, mako sharks, blue sharks, and great white sharks. The location for the day will be determined by the best shark activity and sea conditions and will be confirmed with you the day before your trip. A small group of guests onboard allows for better viewing opportunities and a longer cage dive.
