Be picked up from the comfort of your accommodation in Lisbon. Relax on the drive to Pena Palace in the Sintra Mountains. Spend some time admiring the vivid colors and 19th-century Romantic architecture of this national treasure.

Head to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed historical center of Sintra. Walk through the narrow cobble stone streets and see the charming shops and restaurants.

Take a stroll through the Quinta da Regaleira palace park which features lakes, grottoes, wells, fountains, secret passages, mystical symbolism, and a freemason initiation well.

Our guide for the day was Mario and he was excellent! We really enjoyed our full day out, saw everything we wanted to see and never felt rushed. Mario provided us with a lot of historical context for the places we visited, and steered us to delicious food. It was an excellent start for our trip to Portugal.

Mario was excellent! Very attentive, great sense of humour As it was a private tour, we made changes specific to our requests. The guide was very knowledgeable. In addition there was “double booking” as the tour is very popular, but the company accommodated our requests and we just started later, which worked out better for us as we were still jet legged. Loved the convenience and the fact that it was specific to us!

The tour was excellent primarily because of our Guide, Alcides. He was responsive to all my questions and went out of his way to make sure we were happy and even added extra time at the end of the tour to take us to a couple of spots that were not included in the tour we had booked. He refused to take extra payment for these "add ons". His car was spotless and we liked the tour so much we took another one. I would highly recommend this tour and in particular this guide!
