Full description
Discover Stockholm Archipelago the way it's meant to be discovered - glide along in your kayak in the glow of the sunset light. Perfect and relaxing activity for the end of the day! The Sunset Kayak Tour in Stockholm Archipelago is truly a spectacular experience. Take in the serenity of archipelago when the sun goes down – a time when the seas are at their calmest. Your guide will meet you at the kayak center. After the safety briefing and gearing up, we'll jump into our kayaks to explore the archipelago and the nearest nature reserve Bogesund with amazing farms and forests where Vikings were living about 1,000 years ago. We go kayaking in the nearby waters to enjoy the calm and relaxing evening filled with all the wonderful scents of nature. We will quietly and slowly enjoy surroundings along the way. The pace for these tours is a little slower than our normal 4-hour Archipelago Kayak Tour. While the setting sun is the main draw of this tour, wildlife viewing is always on our agenda so we will try to spot native wildlife including beavers, seals, roe deers and coastal birds. The biggest advantage to the sunset kayak tour is definitely the quiet waters. Fewer boats are out at this time of day. Immerse yourself in the spectacular natural environment, despite being just 30-minutes from Stockholm. After kayaking, there is the opportunity to rent a sauna to add a little luxury to the experience. Contact us ahead.

It was raining a lot, but it was still a lot of fun! Our guide (Ruben) was easygoing, relaxed and friendly, he told us a lot about the archipelago and also about the animal life in the forests along the way - and even surprised us with a coffee and biscuits on the water. The tour was international (Switzerland, France, Germany), which was not an obstacle despite only rudimentary language skills, because everyone was able to communicate in English. Unfortunately, the promised photos (should come by mail) have not yet arrived.

A really nice experience, even if in summer (at least early July) there is no romantic sunset at this time (17.00-20.00) As far as I can tell, good boats and a really nice guide (Mikael from Poland) who is always on the concerns of the group have been addressed. The "trial trip" made us want to do more kayaking in the archipelago. I think that the area around Vaxholm can give more impressions than in Stockholm and the immediate surroundings - but that's just a guess.

We took an evening 2.5 hour kayak outing with Michal. It was so refreshing and relaxing. My group of four really enjoyed the workout and the conversation. The Baltic Sea is gorgeous. Thank you to our wonderful guide, Michal.
