Full description
After departing from Sofia you will embark on a 4-hour drive to Thessaloniki, arriving around noon. The first stop on your tour of Thessaloniki is the UNESCO listed St. Demetrios Church. The stunning 4th-century church is filled with beautiful mosaics.
Continue on your tour of the city, visiting the Arch Of Galerius and the Rotunda nearby, also UNESCO site. The official part of the tour ends to the White Tower - the symbol of Thessaloniki. Then have 2-hours of free time to explore by yourself. On your way back to Sofia you will see some other of the sites in Thessaloniki as the city walls and the Old Town.
