Augustine established his seat (or cathedra) and monastery in Canterbury and became England’s first Archbishop. When miracles were said to have taken place around the site, the cathedral became one of Europe’s most important pilgrimage centers, as most famously told in Geoffrey Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales. A highly recommended tour! Len, our tour guide, entertained us with very interesting and funny stories along the way, and he was also very helpful with tips on what was worth seeing and where to eat.

This was a superb trip. We were lucky to have the most charming guide (Rowan), a chilled bus driver and an expert guide at Stonehenge. Tours don't get better than this!

I recommend this tour! It’s less of a direct guided tour and more of transportation with very knowledge recommendations.

Len's service was very professional and the places visited are very beautiful. It is a highly recommended walk.

Very interesting and we enjoyed our walk around looking at the ostentatiousness of so long ago.
