There were only about 10 participants which gave everyone ample opportunity to ask questions and to hear our guide. I've forgotten his name, unfortunately. We were able to go inside New College which was amazing. Got to see the chapel, the cloisters, the dining hall and the gardens. Furthermore we saw a few colleges from the outside, the lobby of New Bodleian library, outsides of Radcliffe Camera, Bodleian Library, Exeter College and the Venetian Bridge. Since it's all quite contained it was an easy walk. Our guide provided a few fun facts, made us laugh and still managed to provide us with the information we needed! Would definitely recommend.
It was a great and very educational tour with a very friendly, smiley and well informed young Oxford student. We were lucky that the weather stayed dry so we could experience the mysterious beauty of Oxford university and the city itself. I gained knowledge about interesting facts regariding C.S. Lewis and his equally famous friend Tolkien, some facts and places where the movie of Harry Potter was shot, and about the interesting admission process of Oxford university and its old traditions.
It was really good. The guy who explained the tour is friendly and his knowledge about the history of Oxford it is amazing.
Guide was recent graduate from St Hilda’s and was very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly.
Patrick was excellent - informative and entertaining.
