On this full-day excursion from London, your first stop will be the historic cathedral city of Canterbury. There’s plenty to see in Canterbury, including the Cathedral, St. Martin’s Church and St. Augustine’s Abbey. Pilgrims have made their way to Canterbury Cathedral since the Middle Ages, and it remains popular today with visitors from around the world. You’ll travel on to the coast to see the White Cliffs of Dover, one of the country’s most spectacular natural features. An icon of Britain, the White Cliffs have been a sign of hope and freedom for centuries. Take a walk along the clifftops and look out over the busy English Channel. On a clear day you’ll be able to see across to France. Just a short drive up the road from the White Cliffs of Dover is Dover Castle, one of the largest castles in the country, strategically placed at the shortest crossing point to continental Europe. The castle has played a prominent role in Britain’s history, and dates back to the Iron Age. A Roman lighthouse and Anglo-Saxon church still stand within the grounds. Admission to the castle is included in the tour and you’ll also have some free time to explore the grounds.

Relax at the end of your cruise and avail of a direct transfer from the cruise ship terminal in Southampton to Heathrow Airport or selected train stations, or hotels in central London if you are planning on staying the night.  Save money with a shared service, scheduled to serve ships operated by Celebrity Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean, Oceania, Norwegian Cruise Lines and Princess. If your ship is with another cruise line, you can still take advantage of the service by making your own way to the nearest ship on the pick-up list. Get a meet and greet from a driver at the terminal building after disembarkation, and relax in the knowledge that if your ship is delayed, the departure time will be adjusted accordingly. Sit back and relax as you travel by executive vehicle for drop off at hotels and terminals at Heathrow Airport, before continuing to hotels and selected train stations in central London.

After meeting your tour guide and driver, the tour will begin the journey into the limestone country, complete with rolling hills and honey-colored cottages, before edging westwards into the Mendip Hills towards Bath, a city popular for over two thousand years, owing to the hot thermal springs that attracted both Celtic Kings and a while later, Roman aristocracy and is still a popular destination today. On arrival, there will be a full tour followed by optional entry to the Roman Baths, a testament to the cult of Sulis Minerva, both a God of healing and of the underworld. Walk along the original Roman paving, admire the ruins of the ancient temple, and steaming baths. After the city tour there will be free time for lunch before the tour departs for its next stop, Royal Windsor. Over 900 years of Royal history awaits you at the majestic Windsor Castle, a favorite home of the current Queen, and the largest inhabited castle in the world. You will have the option of entering the Castle (except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) where you can see the state apartments and the Royal Chapel of St.George. The town of Windsor sits alongside the River Thames with royal parks, traditional shops, and typical English pubs, making it one of England's most popular destinations. Departing Windsor the coach will begin the drop-offs to selected Heathrow hotels, all Heathrow airport terminals, selected mainline train stations and any centrally located London accommodation. Drop-offs at Heathrow begin between 5:15 PM and 5:45 PM, and the tour aims to drop off in London between 6:45 PM and 7:30 PM. All timings are approximate and subject to traffic and other delays.

The first stop on your excursion is Salisbury, boasting one of the finest Gothic Cathedrals in Britain, built in the 13th century, and a stunning medieval town center. You’ll spend an hour in Salisbury before departing for mysterious Stonehenge. The drive from Salisbury to Stonehenge takes you through some beautiful English countryside and villages, passing historic churches and thatched cottages. Before arriving at Stonehenge your guide will tell you about the many myths, legends, and facts surrounding this prehistoric structure. Stonehenge has been described as one of the greatest mysteries of the prehistoric world. Was it a temple, a clock, a burial site, or something else? On arrival you’ll have time for a visit and an audio-guided tour around the world famous stones (admission fee not included), or time to browse the gift shop. After 90 minutes at Stonehenge you’ll depart for Royal Windsor, where you’re scheduled to arrive in time for a late lunch. You’ll then have some time to explore the city and castle. Windsor Castle is the largest continuously occupied castle in the world and your guide will tell you about its history from William the Conqueror to the current Queen (admission not included, closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays). If you opt not to enter Windsor castle, enjoy a stroll through the old town and Eton. The coach departs Windsor at 16:00 and passengers will be dropped off at major Heathrow hotels beginning at 16:45. When booking, please specify your hotel and the terminal, if applicable. Drop offs are also provided at terminals 1-5. A drive into London is next, which is less than an hour from Heathrow. The guide will manage the hotel drop offs, where additional vehicles or taxis may be used (included in the price) to ensure the hotel drops are completed as quickly as possible. Drop off options include 250 London hotels and selected main line London train stations.

This direct shared transfer from Dover is available on dates that Disney and Princess Cruise Lines are docking in Dover. Nearly all cruises at Dover arrive between 5:00AM and 6:00AM, with disembarkation starting around 7:00AM. Your driver will be waiting at the terminal building exit from 8:00AM, for an 8:30AM departure from the terminal. In the unlikely event that your ship is delayed in docking, departure time is adjusted accordingly. For all delayed ship arrivals, the tour aims to leave at the latest one hour after docking.  This transfer aims to drop passengers off at Heathrow hotels and terminals 1-5 from 10:30AM, and will begin drops in central London from 11:00AM.Drop offs at Victoria Coach/train station, Kings Cross St.Pancras station and Paddington station are also available.

Firstly, come face-to-face with the White Cliffs of Dover, and the magnificent Dover Castle. The fortress dates back to Roman times, and is one of the largest and most impressive castle keeps in Britain. Continuing through this chalk landscape, discover the history of the country, from Celtic Settlers and Roman invaders to the Saxon migration and the Norman conquest. Stop at the city of Canterbury and glimpse into its world famous cathedral on a guided walking tour. Formerly the Roman town of Durovernum Canticorum, the city boasts a wealth of history. After the walking tour, have some free time to walk the narrow streets and admire the historic buildings. In the cathedral, you can see the tomb of King Henry IV, the resting place of The Black Prince and learn of the death in 1170 of Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury. It is then on past the Oast Houses, hop fields, orchards and vineyards to Leeds Castle, described by Lord Conway as the loveliest castle in the world. Dating back to 880AD, Leeds Castle has been home to many English Queens, from the end of the 12th century to the Tudor reign. Beautiful landscaped gardens are a main feature of the grounds, as is the stunning lake. Explore the castle's historic interior, admire the delightful rooms and get lost in the famous maze. After some free time, the tour departs for central London to begin drop offs, followed by Heathrow drop offs. The drive from Leeds Castle to London takes you through Royal Greenwich, and past Tower Bridge, with a view of the Tower of London.

Take advantage of your time in England and combine your transfer from Dover cruise terminal to London or Heathrow, with entry to the Warner Bros Studio: The Making of Harry Potter, a truly unique attraction that allows you to experience the magic that has gone into creating one of the most successful film series of all time.  Visit some of the most iconic film sets featured throughout the movies, including the Forbidden Forest, the Gryffindor common room, Dumbledore’s office, the Ministry of Magic, Hagrid’s Hut, the Weasley Kitchen, and Diagon Alley and so many more! Learn how actors were transformed into creatures, and how the visual effects teams created this magical world. This tour aims to depart Dover by no later than 10:00am. The journey from Dover to Warner Bros Studio is approximately 2.5 hours, and there will be a short comfort stop en route in a service station with bathroom facilities, shops and restaurants. Scheduled arrival time at the Studio is between 1:00pm and 2:00pm. After 3 to 3.5 hours at the studios, the coach will begin drop offs, aiming to arrive in Heathrow at approximately 6:30pm and central London around 7:00pm to 7:30pm.

The experience begins with pickup from London and leaves the city behind as you head towards Southampton via Winchester. Once the joint capital of England, Winchester has been associated with royalty as far back as the famous Alfred the Great, and boasts an array of historical landmarks including a medieval cathedral. Upon arrival, head to the incredible Winchester Cathedral, the resting place of many Saxon Kings, as well as King William Rufus, and the novelist Jane Austen. Soak up the impressive interior of the building, which has the longest nave in Europe and an original medieval tiled floor. Learn about the history of the cathedral, which in 1554 was used as the venue for the wedding of King Philip of Spain to the infamous ‘Bloody Mary’, also known as Queen Mary Tudor. During your time in Winchester, you can also visit the Great Hall, a seat of many English Kings and Queen, and home to the legendary Round Table of King Arthur. After some time exploring Winchester, hop back on the bus for the last leg of the journey to Southampton which takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes. After your arrival at Southampton Cruise Terminals, go straight to the check-in desk where the porters will take care of your luggage and ensure it is delivered to your cabin. Please make sure you use the luggage label in your cruise pack to facilitate this.

The trip was organized very well. I enjoyed the Dover Castle, the white cliffs of Dover, the Canterbury Cathedral and the 45-minutes walking tour in the old Canterbury organized by our amazing tour guide Sophie. I highly recommend this tour!

The Cliffs were a little underwhelming actually but it was a gorgeous day so a pleasant stop, The Dover Castle and Canterbury Cathedral are highly recommended. My son said it was his favorite day of our vacation.

Even though the car was late (due to an accident on the motorway) the customer service was excellent. The car was clean and comfortable and our driver, Hassan, was courteous and friendly.

Excellent service. We were a party of 12 Our driver was waiting for us at the exit of the Royal Caribbean ship terminal. He drove us to the hotel in London. Excellent service.

It was a very great experience! It really worth it a try!
