It's a great place, though I went on the day when it was foggy, I couldn't enhoithe real scenic beauty. But this place would give you what the Dutch water management is and how critical and challenging was it to deal with . The old 16th and 17th century windmills are extraordinary and still working to keep the water level at a safe limit. Also the movie of Kinderdijk ( Childern of dykee) is an interesting one. You could also see how ppl used to and live nearby and in the windmills. They are called the " MILLERS" lovely ppl and quite interesting to learn from them

After we paid we received a call that the trip would only be 45mins as the engines couldn’t run for the entire 75mins given the low temperature. Too late as we were already on the train from Amsterdam. It turned out to a good thing as despite being dressed for it, our feet were freezing. Our guide Pete, was great. Took the time to help us get used to the Segway. Checked and reassured us all the way. Will plan another trip when the weather is warmer!

This reservation had two parts. The zoo and the pancake boat. These reservations were made with ease. However, I recommend checking the website of any activity you want to reserve to make sure that the attraction is actually available on the day you want to visit it. I was mislead by this site’s error indicating that the museum when it wasn’t.

Wonderful zoo. We went early with our one-year-old in his stroller which was perfect. There were enough snack and coffee spots with more than enough to see including many animals that we haven't seen in other zoos.

It was a very nice experience. Getting the ticket beforehand really help to immediately enter all the different parts of the place.
