The Argentine side possesses 3 classic routes: superior, inferior, and garage of the devil. The Macuco trail is self-guided, and enters the jungle taking its visitors to the territory of the endemic Caí monkeys. The basin of this part of the Iguazú River is totally covered by the protected forest of the Iguazú National Park. You’ll then navigate the Iguassu River and admire the picturesque canyons, moving at a speed that allows you to enjoy the landscape and take photos as you go. Finally, you’ll reach the base of the falls near the Devil’s Throat, where you'll get close enough to enjoy a quick refreshing dip in these pristine waters.

Learn about how the Itaipu Dam extends for 7,719 meters across and 196 meters in height and is a world leader in renewable energy production.  Continue the tour with a ride in a double-decker bus along the perimeter of the reservoir, making 3 stops for you to admire the incredible panoramas. This route allows for privileged views of the spillway at the edge of the dam and gives you the chance to admire the beautiful natural scenery within the Itaipu Complex. The dam was constructed across the border of Brazil and Paraguay so during the tour, you will hop from one country to another.
