What people are saying about Southern Region, Iceland

Wooooow! This was perfect. I really don't know if the rest of my activities in Iceland will beat this. Whether you've never ridden a horse before, or are an expert, the guides will help you get over that hump with no issue. by the time the horses have walked a few feet with you, you already feel comfortable and ready to explore. The person who picked us up was also punctual and fast at getting to the destination. When you get to the location, there are some pieces of clothing you'll need to wear such as helmet and rainclothing. I advise bringing your own boots and dress accordingly for rain temp, but they do have attire for you if you need. the whole tour is filled with beautiful sceneries and takes place entirely on the horse. The horses are calm, responsive to your guidance are not to be feared. the guides as well are excellent, not enough can be said of how great they are. If you're going to Iceland, I definitely recommend this tour. It lasts about 2 hours.

An amazing experience. We had never driven an ATV before but instructions were clear and it was easy to use. Absolutely stunning driving along the black sand beaches and to the plane wreck. Plenty of other fun parts to the drive along the way. It rained the whole time but it honestly did not matter as the clothing provided was enough to keep you clean, warm and dry. Recommend +++

The two girls that guided the tour were very nice and helpful. Beautiful scenery and the horses were easy to manage. Your skill level doesn't matter, you'll feel like a pro even though you've never sat on a horse before. And if you've haven't got the proper clothing, don't worry! They'll lend you everything you need. Highly recommend Sólhestar!

Having never rode a horse bedore, I was a little nervous. After arrival we got a warm overall and were introduced to our horses. One od the guides helped me on the horse and explained how to give the horse directions. The horse also knew that they just have to walk in a line. It was a very nice experience! Recommend!

Great experience, great tour guides! Overall a beautiful adventure :)
