The tour has one optional stop at a white sandbar en route to a bioluminescent bay for a quick swim as the sun goes down. The hot springs were a bit of an odd setting, but I highly recommend trying them.My husband, after soaking in the spring water, felt that his nee "unblocked". It has some soothing effect on the joints.

Swimming in the bio bay was a once in a lifetime experience! Before that, a nice swim in the warm shallow waters near mangroves, a local sit down spot for a light dinner, and before that a dip in natural hot springs. While a trek via van, it was a comfortable ride and the guide was funny and accommodating.

Wonderful experience. Captain and crew have tons of information about the organism that glows. Very kind people. Our second time doing it and we absolutely will do it again!

Our guide, Omar, was wonderful! We got to see many islands and the drive from San Juan was GORGEOUS. I can’t recommend this enough.

Well worth the long day of travel! You don’t want to miss this experience!
