Full description

Immerse yourself in the scenery, history, and culture of Bosnia and Herzegovina on this full-day tour from Split. Follow a scenic route through picturesque villages and countryside. Explore Mostar on a walking tour with a local guide before stopping at Kravica Waterfall for a quick swim.

Meet your guide and drive through the countryside to Mostar. Explore the city with a local guide and be dazzled by the famous Stari Most (Old Bridge) connecting two medieval towers, giving the city a widely recognizable visual identity. See young locals showing off their daredevil stunts. Cross the bridge to explore the Ottoman quarter, which was attractively restored after the War in the nineties. Check out the old Bazar and Mosque. Then, explore the city on your own. Be inspired by the oriental structured streets and buildings, friendly people, and tasty food.

Join in the distinctive coffee culture, which may remind you of Turkey. Sit back and relax on one of the terraces, try out traditional food or explore the immense line of souvenir shops to bring back some unique oriental souvenirs.

Then, head back to Split through the rocky landscapes of Herzegovina, via the amazing natural wonder of Kravica Waterfall, where you can enjoy the amazing views, and perhaps even jump into the refreshing waters of the river to cool down with a swim. Finally, return to the meeting point in Split.

This experience was PHENOMENAL. From start to finish, everything was stress-free, efficient, and informative. Mostar is DEFINITELY worth seeing--there is so much interesting history to learn, and the town is packed with beauty and culture. The waterfalls were also a lovely way to end the day. Petar was our tour guide for the drive/Kravica, and Sasa was our walking tour guide in Mostar. Both of them were WONDERFUL; they shared a ton of knowledge and were super kind, funny, and helpful with their recommendations. They even went out of their way to help me with something personal that I forgot (thank you!!!) I couldn't ask for a better experience. This tour is 1000% worth your money and time.

It was a really nice trip with our knowledgable and jovial guide Oliver. Our driver was also very nice and kept us on schedule. The meeting place is the office of the activity provider Grayline Croatia. Then everyone is brought to the bus from there. We had a good trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina. We stopped at a nice little town first and climbed upto the castle to get nice views. Then we reached Mostar where a very nice local guide Ana Maria showed us around. After that we had some time to see the town on our own. It's quite small so the time was enough to walk around and also get some lunch. Then we moved on to the Kravica waterfalls before returning to Split. The wi-fi on the bus worked in Croatia while going but not while returning.

This tour was amazing. The driver, pickup, and tour guide were all phenomenal. Petar, the tour guide, was knowledgeable and funny and handled the border crossings extremely well. Mostar is so cool and so different than anything we had seen on our tour of Europe so far. The walking tour and the tour guide in Mostar were amazing. And Kravica - wow. The only gripe I have with this tour is that I could've stayed at the Kravica waterfalls all day. They truly look like a fairytale. 100% recommend and definitely worth the day trip. Note: the time allotted for this tour is not guaranteed - we returned just under 2 hours later than described due to the border crossings (which cannot be controlled), but the bus is comfortable and has wifi so no issues.
