Full description
The tour starts with a quick resume about who the Russian tsars were and what caused the decay and revolutions. Have a look at the State Museum of Political History of Russia which where the stages Russia has been through politically are carefully preserved and displayed. One of the most impressive parts is the Nicholas II assassination hall and the WWII  industrial sculptures. You will quickly get right in the middle of events and feel chills observing history changing in front of your eyes. Next stop is Tauride Palace which transformed from a chic balls and party halls into the first Bolsheviks residency (the inside tour is a possible add on). The tour includes a drive past cruiser Aurora - a milestone in the Russian revolution history. It took part in Winter Palace assault and remains a true symbol of the October Revolution. Finland Train Station was right in the middle of events as well so you will have a chance to see it yourself. Last but not the least - the Smolny Institute. The trip inside is mindblowing. Not only does it contain all the Revolution's secret details, it remains a government residency so you actually see people working there. You are allowed to visit several halls and studies with a private guide and a guard. The main person the tour is focused on is Vladimir Lenin. His early life, education, fascination with Karl Marx - all these things turned his life into a range of ups and downs. People judge him, love him, and hate him. One thing remains clear - his impact into the world policy has been massive.  All in all the experience is unforgettable! If you are a big fan of history, this is your must-see tour. Nobody leaves it unimpressed. The key to Russian history is given to you. Expore and discover!
