Glide over the Teotihuacan Valley in a whimsical hot air balloon, with others flying alongside. Enjoy unique views of ancient pyramids passing by below and toast with sparkling wine. Back on the ground, take time to explore the sites and enjoy breakfast. See the highest part of the pyramids of the sun and the moon. Your pilot will find the perfect time to share a bottle of sparkling wine, a traditional toast which has been a part of every balloon flight since 1783.  Once you're back down on solid ground, enjoy touring the streets of Teotihuacan. After your breakfast, it will be time to visit the Archaeological Zone. Go up to the top of the Pyramid of the Sun and see the whole valley of Teotihuacan from above, or take a walk through the site to reach the top of the Pyramid of the Moon.

Meet your guide, then leave the busy streets of Mexico City behind as you head out into the surrounding landscapes towards Iztaccihuatl-Popocatepetl National Park. Start off with an exploration of the lower parts of the volcanoes at the Paso de Cortes. Follow your guide as you trek through the wilderness, soaking up epic views of the volcanoes while learning about their history and activity. Walk up to the Cerro Altzomoni where you can marvel at Popocatepetl and its fumarole.  Afterwards, descend towards the Amalacaxco Ravine to see an array of native flora and fauna. Return to Paso de Cortes, then travel back to the city, stopping at a traditional market along the way for a delicious and well-deserved lunch.

You will climb the 4th highest volcano in Mexico on this tour with professional guides and all the necessary equipment provided. Admire the stunning landscapes and natural beauty of the area. Depart Mexico City and spend the day touring the Izta-Popo National Park. Head to the foothills of Popocatépetl to start your hike up Iztaccíhuatl from the base of the dormant volcanic mountain. Take in the beautiful scenery and fresh air as you walk in a small group. Your own skill level will determine how high the hike will go, so you won't feel strained beyond your abilities. Popocatépetl is Mexico’s 2nd highest peak and part of the tour offers splendid views of the valley and village of Amecameca below. Marvel at the 3,700-meter high mountain of La Joya in the famous Paso de Cortés, named after the Spanish conquistadors who crossed it on their way to Mexico-Tenochtitlan in 1519.  Descend the mountain for a light lunch in the foothills to replenish your energy. Then, commence the return trip to Mexico City and reflect on the tranquility of the mountain and the miraculous wonder of nature.

Discover the magnificent Teotihuacan Pyramids from the air! This exciting 1-hour journey will take you up into the clouds for a truly unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience! Your adventure starts at 07:00 with the inflating of the hot air balloon and instructions from your leader. You’ll be part of a hard-working team, preparing the balloon for flight. Then climb aboard to experience amazing views of the pyramids, including the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon. The Teotihuacan archaeological site is in the Basin of Mexico, just 30 miles (48 km) northeast of Mexico City, which contains some of the largest pyramids built in the pre-Columbian Americas. Take off on a hot air balloon ride through the Teotihuacan Pyramids, and enjoy the panoramic views from different vantage points. After the hot air balloon experience, savor a delicious breakfast. Begin your bike tour by choosing a bicycle according to your size, and ride around the Valley of Teotihuacan pyramids, taking in the views from different perspectives. Ride to the neighborhoods of Tepantitla Tetitla and Atetelco, where you will see the mural still preserved in the old residential neighborhoods. After visiting the mural, go into the archaeological site to climb the Pyramid of the Sun and Moon. After visiting the archaeological site, see the Butterfly Palace and bike to a craft workshop where you'll learn about gemstones, like obsidian, and taste the traditional drink, pulque. The tour will end with a tasty buffet meal (excluding drinks), and you will return to Mexico City at approximately 4:00 PM. The bike ride is approximately 10 km. Please note: The bike tour takes place outside of the Archaeological Zone.

The first stop on your tour will be to the caves of Cacahuamilpa. You will enter through the huge rock door to contemplate the majestic scenery formed by the erosion of the water and the movements of the earth. You will then walk through the corridors and enjoy the sensation of penetrating the mountain to discover figures of animals, faces, buildings, and the customs of the Chontal tribes to honor their gods of the underworld. You will then go to the magical town of Taxco to eat at the Hotel Monte Taxco. After lunch, you can take the cable car (not included). Following this, you will take a walk through the city and visit the oldest mining center on the continent, which still stores silver mines that date back to the Colonial Era. Next, you will visit the ex-convent of San Bernardino and the Temple of Santa Prisca, which is a clear example of the fact that the town still retains its colonial style. The church there, which was built in approximately the 18th century, is of Novo-Hispanic Baroque style. You will then have free time to visit Humboldt House, where the famous German expeditionary stayed, and which is currently home to the Museo del Arte Virreinal. Following this, you will visit the different workshops, goldsmiths, and museums of this city (which is also called the City of Silver). At the conclusion of your educational and cultural day out, you will return to Mexico City at approximately 6:00PM.

Enjoy a typical lunch in the Village of San Martín de las Pirámides. You will return to Mexico City around 4:00 PM.

Start your day tour with a drive from Mexico City to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary. Each year the monarchs fly 5,000 kilometers from Canada to Mexico, where they spend the winter. To get to the sanctuary you’ll walk through the woods and learn about what butterflies eat, how they reproduce, and their lifecycle. Admire the Wedding Veil Waterfall, which is an impressive cascade named after the form it creates. Visit the magical town of Valle de Bravo and the San Francisco de Asis Mission Church, considered the highest temple in the State of Mexico. Enjoy some free time for shopping before returning to Mexico City.

Depart Mexico City for Tlachichuca, Puebla, where you will take 4X4 to reach the mountain hut in Piedra Grande that will serve as your accommodation for the night. Upon arrival, go on an acclimatization walk and practice using crampons and an ice axe. Return to the hut to have dinner, prepare for the ascent the following day, and get a good night's sleep. Start your trek bright and early before dawn. By the time the sun rises, you will be well-positioned to enjoy incredible views of the valleys surrounding the Pico de Orizaba. Admire the first rays of sun glinting off the stunning glacier that leads to the mountain crater. Follow the glacier to reach the summit at 5,700 meters, the highest point in Mexico and the third-highest in North America. After enjoying the views at the summit, you will descend to the hut where your transport back to Tlachichuca will be waiting for you. Once there, eat a restorative meal before returning to Mexico City.
