The cruise was wonderful. Great food, music and service. My children and grandchildren really enjoyed themselves. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. The only drawback was it was not handicap accessible as I was told. They had a wheelchair to take my sister to the boat and up the ramp, but there was a flight of stairs she had to go down. No elevator - they offered to carry her down stairs but that made her too nervous. She was able to walk down very slowly but it was hard for her. When I booked cruise I asked about stairs and was told once on board she would be on correct deck for dining. It is imperative that people know there are stairs.
We had a great time aboard the dinner boat. Staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. The on board entertainment was fun and you can not beat the views of NYC, Statue of Liberty, etc. Also, the harbor was easy to find and boarding the boat was a breeze. Overall a great time and with so much to do in the NYC area I am glad we chose this as it turned out to be a special evening.
We enjoyed our NY sailing on the Hudson. Food and crew were awesome. We had delightful weather and close views of Statue of Liberty, Jersey shoreline, and NY ground zero.
It was a really beautiful journey along Hudson and East River with nice hosts aboard a boat with character and history dating back to 1920.
Well worth doing, had an unbelievable time... Went from N.J & had better parking and longer time on the boat...
