The Stuttcard fits in every purse or wallet and so is the perfect travelling companion. The Stuttcard is available as a 24, 48 or 72-hour adult ticket and gives free entry and discounts for 46 partners in the Stuttgart region. The StuttCard is also your ticket on the public transport network within the Stuttgart region during the period of validity. With the Stuttcard free entry is guaranteed for nearly all museums and attractions. Art aficionados can enjoy the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, Kunstmuseum Stuttgart and further museums in the region, such as the Schiller National Museum in Marbach. Car fans can visit the Mercedes-Benz and Porsche Museums. If you're interested in palaces, then visit Solitude Palace and Ludwigsburg Palace. Take in some history too at the Stauffenberg Erinnerungsstätte and the Theodor Heuss House.

    The card was worth the cost paid, because had a number of free entrance to attractions and the ones that were not free there was a discount, Also, it covers the use of transportation, including the underground trains.     Useful for public transport and convenient for those who want to visit the city's attractions and museums. The only flaw is that some timetables on the brochure did not reflect what we found and that navigation on the Neckar river is not well explained in terms of timetables. At wilhelma (zoological and botanical garden) they even told us that we could not enter with the stuttgart card when the opposite was written on the brochure. My partner and I bought the 48-hour card and by doing the calculations we definitely saved. I recommend it.

    If you go to Stuttgart on New Year's Eve, don't take it, it's not worth it because on December 31st and January 1st most of the attractions are closed and moreover Monday is the closing day of 99% of the museums and this year on December 30th it fell on a Monday; so we almost didn't exploit it. Excellent for public transport, it saves time.
