This tour to Skopje in North Macedonia is a great opportunity to get to know one more country for the list when in Sofia, Bulgaria. Our group was small and Vasco was our driver and guide for the Bulgarian part of the trip, and he is one of the best guides I ever had in my life, being an extremely nice and intelligent person, telling us really interesting facts, being excellent company for the route and turning the experience into VIP. Vasco also managed to solve some unforeseen events along the way very efficiently, really an exceptional guy. Once in Skopje, our group was guided through the main sights of the city by a local guide who was very knowledgeable about the history and customs of North Macedonia from the point of view of a citizen of the country itself. Finally, we visit the beautiful Matka Canyon in a boat ride inside it, with its unmissable breathtaking scenery, in a experience to by remembered for all my life. I strongly recommend this tour, BulTrips and the guide Vasco.

Great tour and well worth it. Philip picked us up from our hotel promptly and along with other hotel pick ups (all smooth and organised) we made our way to Skopje. The journey was very comfortable and Philip told us many interesting stories of Bulgarian/Macedonian history. Philip is a real star. Friendly, polite and very knowledgeable. The Bulgarian countryside is beautiful as is the journey to and from Skopje. Once arrived in Skopje Philip took us to Lence (Lena) our North Macedonian guide. She was wonderful and took us on a walking tour which included Mother Teresa’s house and the Old Bazaar again with many historical/ cultural facts along the way. Such a great way to get to see/ experience Skopje in such comfort. To get a taste that leaves you wanting more. 2 great guides which really made a great day greater. Highly recommend this trip to anyone hesitating. You will be comfortable, looked after and you will have a great experience. Thank you Philip and Lena :)

The trip was perfect, exactly how we expected it to be, the driver was very friendly and took time to show us other places on the way to Macedonia that we should visit. Lena was an amazing local host, she knew so much about the history and took time to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend it for anyone else wanting to do a trip to Skopje

Phillip and Lena were excellent guides. We learned so much and we’re in good hands. Phillip reassured us during the border crossing and kept us informed with all the history. And Skopje was worth the drive. The culture and city were very good!

The trip was brilliant, I would highly recommend it to anyone. The guides are very professional, and we had a great time.
