Day 1) Explore the Klong Saeng wild life sanctuary Upon arrival at the Chiew Larn pier, our friendly local jungle expert will welcome you over a coffee and explore the Klong Saeng gardens, royal temple and suspended bridge with you. We will than start our adventure with a 1 and a half hour long tail boat ride passing by the 3 brothers rock and head towards the North-Eastern part of the lake for a one-and-a-half-hour jungle educational trek. Our expert guide will share his local fauna and flora knowledge with you and end the hike by the visiting Khao Sok eldest cave or deep jungle waterfall depending on the weather. Following this jungle expedition, we will cruise to your raft house where you will be served a savory local lunch, after what you will have free time to canoe on the Cheow Lan green emerald waters are to take a swim. Around 3 Pm, our Jungle expert and boat captain will take you for a wildlife observation tour on the Klong Saeng sanctuary, natural habitat of wild elephants, tapirs, gibbons, clouded leopards and other exotic wildlife. Great excursion! The staff did a great job explaining how the elephants were rescued. I love being able to make food for them and having a hands on experience with the them.
