What people are saying about Svolvær

Great guiding from Lawrence, who was full of interesting information about the local area, the natural world around us and life in Norway generally. Despite the unseasonally warm weather, we walked in snow to a local summit with beautiful views of the sunsetting over the sea. Lawrence looked after us beautifully, and was attentive to every member of the group’s needs. A really enjoyable way to get closer to the landscape.

Very nice excursion with a very friendly, local guide from Germany. Nice mixed small group with Belgians, Swiss, French and Germans. Communicated mainly in English. Great view and nature - also with the best sunny weather :) It was worth it and is highly recommended. Easy to do with a normal level of fitness.

A real pleasure to do this little snowshoe hike, with a passionate guide who likes to share his knowledge of the place and the legends about the mountains that surround us!

Great experience- Lawrence our guide was really nice, encouraging and held lots of knowledge on the landscape and environment.

Great experience! Beautiful landscapes and we were lucky to be guided by locals!!!!!
