We started our activity on a Friday morning in March. It was a beautiful sunny morning, however we did not know until last moment if the weather would permit ascending the peak. In the end we did it and it was great. After driving on mount Teide for approximatively 1 hour through pine trees and black lava, we finally arrived at the cable car at 2200 m altitude. There we waited our turn and climbed the remaining distance until the hiking spot by cable car. It should be noted that enhanced sanitary measures are in place at the cable car: only limited number of people can be in the cable car and after each group the cable car worker cleans / désinfects all the windows. Steffi is a great guide providing explanations about the geology, flora and fauna of the mountain. She is a nature and hike lover and she shares that with the people around. The hike itself is moderately difficult, it can be intense if you go fast but if you take it slow is quite easy and short.

Accually the Organisation was Perfect. Very interesting excursion in three languages. It was gorgeous. The only thing - we did not visit Windmill where they do gofio as it was promised. And as for me made too little stops and had only 30 min in the capital to visit all the places connected with Columbus. We looked for it ourselves (thanks google maps) as the group went to have ice cream. But we managed to see wonderful nature of the island and had perfect lunch. For those who has problems on ships , it is better to take paper bags and sit in the front. The vases are very strong. I felt very sick.

Great trip! It was run very efficiently, everything was on time; Teide NP is gorgeous and well worth visiting! Going up the mountain was very special, I did not have the permit to climb to the very top (if you want to do it - make sure you get the permit upfront). However, I loved walking through the other trails and enjoying the scenery - amazing. There are good bathrooms and a nice cafe at the cable car station. The transport and the guide were great as well.

It was an exceptional experience from the beggining till the end. Our guide Jaime was very well prepared - he knows about Tenerife culture, history, flora and fauna a lot and is excited to share! We hiked in amazing Laurel leaves forest, also went to see another panoramic views, shared local food together (goat meat,etc.). We had a feeling as we have spent our day with a friend, who wants to show the best what Tenerife has!

Spent a lovely day travelling around the island and visiting all the old towns! Had a great day and learned a lot about the island, the towns, and the culture. Highly recommend this for a day out and see the island!!
