The company blue explorers went pick us up from the place where we were staying. Once we arrived we were greeted by the staff (divers) then Ron the Diver instructor that took a big role on teaching us step by step how important it was to follow all the safety rules in a fun and relaxed way. We put our suits on and went snorkling with the team they showed us some cool spots to see the corals and fishes, after we took a small break and went back to the sea with the scubba diving equipament. At first i was a bit nervous but Ron not only made us feel safe but made us feel really confident underwater also made me laugh couple times with the sea cucumber and other stuff. Time flew by really fast. At the end of the day they show pictures that they took of you and you can buy them for such a reasonable price it seems nothing. Dont forget they are a group of professionals they risk their life to keep ou safe and have a fantastic time like me and my partner had. Once again thank you all.
We choose this company as we travelled as a family ( 2 young children ) and my mother ( 63 years old), and this was an activity that we could all enjoy as a family, as the youngest and eldest of our group didn't participate in the actual activity, but waited for us on the beach. We all enjoyed it, I think it was a nice taster session for my sister and brother-in-law, who never snorkelled before. The actual snorkelling was a bout 45 minutes long the rest of the time was about a short orientation , explaining what to expect how to use the snorkelling gear and getting actually geared up. We saw lots of colourful fish. we felt safe and secure all the time, our guide regularly checked up on us and pointed out the different fish. I booked it on Dutch language to benefit my niece, so the English version of the explanation was rather short, so make sure to book the right language - the guides all spoke good English.
The first dives were off the beach near the dive shop (primarily because I did not dive for a while). We saw more marine life than I expected which was nice (many various fish including a ray, clams). There were also a few interesting rock formations like arches and small caves. Vesko, the guide, was excellent. Very patient, thorough, and helpful. The logistics were great. Pickup, equipment, safety, etc. Everything was also well sanitized (COVID-19 days).
My 9 year old son was affraid to dive although he swims like a fish. My husband had a leaking mask so he hardly enjoyed the activity. I was the only one to dive actually. There was no turtles, just some small fishes. But the overall experience was terrific. I was scared to jump off the boat and really scared to go under water. But once you try, you can't believe you did it.
I wanted to do scuba dive as I am.certified diver. I wasn't told to bring along my diving license. Their system could not trace my records. Even though I am a Certified diver. Some problem with their sys. The location dont have alot not interesting fishes ! But overall my friends enjoyed themself for the experiential diving under good guidance
