    Climb aboard for a kayaking adventure in Tenerife and get up close and personal with dolphins and turtles in their natural environment. Observe the amazing creatures from a vessel that does not frighten them or disturb their natural habitat.

    Be surrounded by pods of up to 30 dolphins that sometimes put on a show by jumping high into the air. Home to up to 5 different species of dolphins, including bottlenose dolphins, the waters just off the island’s coast are ideal to marvel at these lovable creatures.

    While the bottlenose dolphins are the easiest to spot, other species inhabit the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, including rough-toothed dolphins, striped dolphins, and common dolphins.

    As wild animals, views cannot be guaranteed, but there is a 95% chance that you will encounter the animals on your trip. Get an optional swimming break and snorkel with turtles and bull rays in a bay only accessible by kayak as a bonus.

    Usually, within a few minutes, curious turtles arrive and get very close, swimming around and in between you. Also, bull rays regularly glide elegantly along the sea bed underneath you.

      The guide was really good and we had a good kayaking trip although we were unfortunate not to see any dolphins or turtles when we were there. Nonetheless, we both enjoyed the kayaking and snorkeling so I would recommend going on the trip. The guide took a couple of pictures of each group on the tour which were included in the price and meant we didn't have to take our own phones/ cameras out with us. One couple did capsize repeatedly and then decide to turn back so the guide went back with them, leaving the rest of the group to just float until he returned. This was the only downside of the tour but not any fault of the guide! Another couple had to be towed back after snorkeling due to sea sickness. It was a calm day, minus the waves from boats, so if you're not confident swimming in the sea or kayaking then I wouldn't recommend. Also, if you get seasick then take the tablets before heading out!

      I really enjoyed this experience. It was my first time kayaking but our guide took her time to explain and show us how to do it. We saw a dolphin and swam with a turtle, the true highlight of the trip. The guide could speak Spanish, Portuguese, English and French. The guide also takes beautiful pictures during the trip and they deliver them via email afterward. I highly recommend this experience.

      I got to see a dolphin and turtle, but the kayaking was by far my favorite part! Axel was such a fun guide too! Everyone was so nice here. The weather was kind of iffy, but there's not much they can do about that. You should definitely give it a try!
