Swim with Dolphins

You'll depart from Puerto Colon at 11:00AM at which point you will go in search of whales and dolphins. During your 5-hour excursion you will visit the cliff of Los Gigantes, as your boat sails to an area where there is a greater possibility to see pilot whales. You will have a 30-minute stop to see the whales in their natural environment, and at the end of the whale watching experience you will sail to the cliffs of Los Gigantes. Once there, anchor in one of the bays under the cliffs of Los Gigantes whilst enjoying some lunch. Following that, go swimming in the inviting waters before sailing back to Port Colón along the southwestern coast of Tenerife.

Your adventure will begin in the morning when the ocean is still very calm. Begin with kayaking instructions and all the safety measures needed for a great time on the sea. At this hour of the morning, enjoy the relaxing atmosphere as you get into the kayak on the empty beach of Playa de Los Cristianos.   Start paddling along the harbor, exiting into the open sea followed by seagulls for around 30 minutes to get out to where the dolphins pass by. You can enjoy a great time watching the dolphins playing around and sometimes doing a really wild show.   After around 1 hour, we will paddle away gently, trying as much possible not to disrupt the dolphins’ morning routine. This will be an adventure you will always remember.

Climb aboard for an unforgettable 3-hour cruise by fully equipped sailboat or yacht, and venture along the southern coast of Tenerife looking for whales and dolphins in their natural environment. Encounter up to 26 species known to inhabit the waters, including baleen whales, killer whales, dolphins, pilot whales and blue whales. Go to a private beach if you prefer and swim and snorkel amongst the island's unique flora and fauna. Relax on deck and laze in the sun as you avail of the free drinks, snacks and a meal. Rest assured by the “Blue Boat” flag that certifies the local operator's professional authorization to carry out these activities and ensures that the on-board staff know all about the mammals to help you understand their behavior better.

As soon as you board your boat, you will begin your sunny and unforgettable experience. The journey begins from the port of Puerto Colon, in the south of Tenerife. Immediately after leaving the port, you will begin to experience all of the delights of the vast Atlantic Ocean including the blue and clear water, the fresh sea breeze and majestic waves. Your team will do everything possible to quickly present you with beautiful views of dolphins living in this part of the ocean. You will not have the opportunity to become bored on this cruise, as your team works to find as many perfect photo opportunities as possible for you to capture. Following your dolphin watching, move towards the La Caleta lagoon, where where you will have an excellent opportunity to swim in crystal clear water and swim among exotic fish. Whilst at this picturesque lagoon, you will also be provided with a great opportunity to engage in fishing. For the duration of the cruise, you will be welcome to refresh yourself with soft drinks, and at the conclusion of your journey along the magnificent coast of Tenerife, your boat will return you to the port.

Arrive at the dive center to pick up snorkeling gear for the 3-hour trip. A marine biologist will point out the main species that are likely to be seen on the snorkeling adventure. It will be decided on the day the best site to carry out the activity, from the shore or with our boat, depending on the sea conditions. On arrival, the snorkeling begins, led by the marine biologist. Enjoy a snack with fresh fruits, cookies and water between snorkeling stops. During the break, the marine biologist will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
