Begin the day by departing London and traveling through the beautiful scenery of South Downs National Park. Make a stop in Alfriston, one of the prettiest villages in the region, before arriving at the seaside to visit one of the most recognizable sights of Britain’s coastline: the Seven Sisters. Admire a stunning sequence of seven undulating chalk cliffs. Absorb the breathtaking sea views, take a bracing walk along the coastal path, and stop for incredible photo opportunities along the way. Get back on the road on the way to Brighton. Reach the charming town by early afternoon and have some free time to explore. Wander along The Lanes, a collection of quirky narrow streets home to a variety of shopping and eateries. Grab a bite or head over to the famous Royal Pavilion, once the exotic seaside residence of King George IV. Take a relaxing stroll along the waterfront to unwind after a long day and discover the vibrant Palace Pier. Finally, get back on board for the return trip to London.

Embark on a self-guided treasure hunt for a fun and unique way to explore Brighton. Receive messages to a phone from Captain Bess, a snarky pirate who’s testing out new recruits to join her ship. Travel along Captain Bess's carefully designed route through the city. Follow the treasure maps to get to the right place, then try to decipher the clue. Search high and low for the answer and see hidden sights usually missed by tourists. Ask for a hint to continue the journey through the city if the clues get too tough. Start at the Indian Gate outside Pavilion Gardens and sneak through tiny twittens, Royal gardens, elaborate squares, and the bustling Lanes. Learn interesting facts and gear stories along the way about the sights on Bess's route and get a better understanding of the history of Brighton. Get ready to explore Brighton in a new way through this fun and interactive treasure hunt.

This 2.5 hour bike tour will take you from the vibrant heart of Brighton, along the seafront cycle path to the historic coastal village of Rottingdean, stopping along the way at a variety of sights. We will meet outside the Unitarian Church, on New Road in central Brighton. Here we will brief you, introduce you to fellow participants and equip you with a suitable bike and helmet (optional). We will then head out, stopping at: - The Royal Pavilion and it’s gardens - East Street & Quadrophenia Ally - The Palace Pier - iconic Victorian era structure - Volks Electric Railway - the oldest operational electric railway - Madeira Drive cycle path - Brighton Marina - Undercliff Path - a spectacular route right next to the sea, with white cliffs towering above you - Rottingdean village - the seaside village, famous for a history of smuggling and as the home of ‘The Jungle Book’ author Rudyard Kipling. Here there will be an opportunity to stop for refreshments at one of the many seafront pubs and cafes or explore the old village which includes Rudyard Kipling’s Garden. We will then cycle back to Brighton along the Undercliff Path and take in ‘The Lanes’ in the old part of the city before finishing back at New Road.
