Varna: Guided VIP Tour

1. Varna: Guided VIP Tour

A perfect day out that takes you to the real countryside of Bulgaria. After being collected from your accommodation at 8:30AM from your hotel, you will be taken to the oldest unknown church in Varna, before passing by the Roman Baths. From there you will head to the "Stone Forest", a natural rock formation entangled with myths. Following this, you will be able to appreciate the craftsmanship from the Roman Mosaics in Devnya. Of course a small tasting of the locally-made "Rakia" can't be missed, and where best to do that than in the local distillery where Bulgarians still keep this tradition intact. Following this appetizer, it will be time for lunch. At "Dom Kasata", a typical Bulgarian styled house, Mrs. Kasata awaits you with a homemade Musaka. After this culinary treat, you will be safely returned to your hotel at 3:30PM.

On 04.07. we had booked this tour with the German speaking Philipp. It was a nice day tour. Philipp was attentive and explained patiently. He took us to very beautiful places away from the crowds. Excellent! Mimi, a super friendly Bulgarian, had lunch at home. We felt very welcome there and the food was plentiful and very tasty. There was no rush, we could look at everything in peace and enjoy. This tour is highly recommended. Thanks for this nice day Philip!

The excursion was the best thing about the holiday, learning interesting things about the country, far away from tourism. The stop at the family's was really great, megga friendly and the food was megga delicious. And the gyde was great, you should have experienced it

Great excursion that gives insights into the lesser known but very beautiful places in Bulgaria. The program was very diverse and entertaining, no long bus rides. Thank you for the nice day
