Overall rating

I had 5 hours layover in Vienna and took the red line. It allowed me to have, at least, an overview of the town and its renowned figures. I will take it again one another time to really hop on and off, so to discover deeper about the city. The only downside is the non stop valse music accompanying the audio guide. If one can choose between putting the background music on and off, it would be perfect.

Overall the pass was a wonderful option allowing us to decide what to see and when. The staff was wonderful and very helpful and provided some ideas on getting around which attractions were close to each other. The only thing I would say is make sure on day of arrival get there early to get your pass. We got there the day before but about an hour after 12 so we could not get our passes.

It would be better if you could redeem the pass directly instead of exchanging it at the customer center. We had to look for the customer center itself. But otherwise everything went great. Not all sights are accessible without queuing.

The view from the top was amazing (clear blue sky morning). Definitely check the weather beforehand. Tip - also go and walk around the Danau rivier on that side of the city. The river is beautiful on that side!

This was a surprise!! It doesn’t look the best from the outside but was really good inside. Amazing glass top lift and rotating roof cafe/restaurant. Definitely recommend!
