Great guide with great stops

Our guide, Bertrand, was extremely knowledgable, placed everything into context well, customized the trip, answered questions and was very personable and easy to understand. He was passionate and excited about the subject. The sites (Villers-Bretonneaux, Thiepval, Beaumont-Hamel, Péronne, etc.) were varied and moving. We took a group of university students and they learned a lot and experienced something completely new. It would've been nice to have a little more time at some of the sites (Thiepval, Péronne) and done without some stops (La Grande Mine). The students also wanted to see non-Commonwealth cemeteries (ie French and German) to compare. Highly recommend this tour!
