What people are saying about Thiseio

My girlfriend and I did the wine-tasting under the Acropolis and the views were phenomenal! Despite there being problems with our reservation booking, George still accommodated us and we had a great time tasting the delicious wines. We got to try 3 white wines and 3 red wines, with the red wines being complimentary since there were not many additional customers that night (my girlfriend and I went during the tourism off-season of January). George was incredibly informed about the wines and we had a wonderful experience and time!

This was the best wine tasting I have ever done! George is so knowledgeable and could answer all of my questions. He catered the tasting to me personally, and it was such a special evening. If you're only going to drink one glass of wine while in Athens, make sure you do it at this wine tasting. Cannot recommend any more!!

George is an excellent sommelier and clearly knew his wines. The view from the rooftop was incredible! When I signed up for this tasting, I didn’t know anything about Greek wines and I came away feeling like I had a good a introduction.

George the sommelier provided an excellent introduction to several outstanding varieties of Greece. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Enjoyed this wine tasting very much! George was very knowledgeable and helpful, and the wines were lovely. Highly recommend.
