Your experience will begin as one of Greece's sommeliers, Dimitris Spiropoulos, welcomes you to a beautiful restaurant under the Acropolis. He will offer you your first aperitif as well as a brief explanation of the wine map of Greece. The wine map features all of the major wine producing areas, as well as the wine varieties of each one. Following a small talk, your wine-tasting experience begins with Dimitris introducing special Greek wines from handpicked local wineries. Depending on the wine varieties, special dishes, also from selected Greek producers, will help the you receive the full wine experience. Throughout your tour you'll have the chance to taste rare wine varieties such as Roditis, Limnio, Kidonitsa, Muscat, Augoustiatis, and Mandilaras. You'll also sample many more carefully selected varieties, hand-picked by your sommelier.

This morning electric bike tour lasts about 3.5 hours and it is a nice way to get yourselves oriented in the city of Athens. The ride takes place in the amazing historic city center, on pedestrian areas, low traffic streets, and parks away from the traffic hustle. Your local tour leader will head the tour, riding with you very close to the main archaeological sites and guiding you through some hidden areas, while providing you with a stunning experience!  The group rides close to the new Acropolis Museum and the Ancient Cemetery of Kerameikos, through the neighborhood of Thission, while you enjoy a great view of the Acropolis and the Parthenon. Then, cycle through the Ancient Greek Agora and pass by the Roman Agora Continue cycling in the historic district of Plaka, and then move to the National Gardens, one of the best areas to ride in downtown Athens. Stop also in front of the Presidential Mansion to see the Presidential Guards, and pass by the Panathenaic Stadium and Zappeion Exhibition Hall.

Meet your guide at the main entrance to the Temple of Olympian Zeus next to the Acropolis. Hear about the birth of the glorious city, through to its Golden Age and its downfall to the Spartan armies. Listen to stories from Greek mythology, and uncover their true meaning and historic facts. Visit all the most emblematic sites of the ancient city, as well as less well known attractions. Suitable for all ages, the tour will help you understand how Athens became the mythical city we know today. Visit landmarks, such as the Parthenon, Theater of Dionysus, and Temple of Athena Nike. See the ruins of the Temple of Erechtheion and Sanctuary of Asclepius. Go to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, learn the functions of the Agora and visit the Temple of Hephaestus.

Visit the cradle of democracy and explore one of the most important sites of the antiquity, the birthplace of philosophy. The ancient agora was the commercial, political and financial heart of ancient Athens and is the place where Socrates, Plato and many world-known philosophers walked and taught their thinking.  You will visit the Hephaestus Temple, the best preserved Greek Temple from the 5th century BC and you will see the wonderful church of the 12 Apostles, the Temple of Apollo Patroos, the Stoa of Zeus, the Altar of Zeus. With the input of your knowledgeable guide, the ancient stones will come alive.  Then your licensed guide will take you to the Attalos Museum, which is worthwhile visiting as it houses artifacts of great historical value.

Discover Athens on an easygoing walking tour — a great option for the whole family. Learn about how the Athenians lived and played and enjoy fun activities and refreshing beverages. Start at Pnyx Hill, where the Athenians gathered to make their popular assemblies and practice the way of the Athenian Democracy with an activity. Then, walk to the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and familiarize yourself with the 12 gods of Olympus. Continue by exploring the traditional neighborhood of Plaka and get to know the life of the young and also the older Athenians. The next stop will be the National Gardens, and the tour finishes at the famous Syntagma Square and the Hellenic Parliament.
