Full description

Watch 'Ritmo a Caballo', an equestrian ballet that has been performed here every Wednesday at 5:45PM uninterrupted for 30 years. The choreography incorporates a mixture of cowboy moves and dressage to Spanish music. Riders wear old Andalusian costumes and the show is directed by José Carlos González Guerrero, who was awarded the Champion of Spain in 2009. The one and a half hour show features 20 horses, all trained by their riders. Be amazed as you watch a group of Spanish horses all move in unison to the beat of the music. Rigorous training and traditional elegance are combined in this impressive performance.

Great provincial show. 5 horses displaying great moves. There is a small refreshment bar and small gift shop. No ATM available so bring cash. I would recommend lots of water and a fan to cope with the heat. Taxi can be booked after but it can take some time so pre-booking is helpful.

A wonderful little idea. I noticed that a lot of work is put into the performances that are represented in the performance. A flamenco dancer gives her best. Because of her size, she doesn't get the attention she wants. The focus is on the horses. Given the size of the hall and the size of the horses, I would work with 3 dancers. There is no need for action. But I definitely recommend this show... If you go there by taxi and haven't booked a taxi for the way back, you can contact the person at the entrance. And 5 minutes later there is a taxi. Costs around €7.50 one way from the Hotel Riu Costa del Sol.

Funny, nice horses, fascinating what the horses can do, thought it would be more flamingo dancing / riding women. There was only one and only on the ground, no one rode but the horse show was really worth seeing. A nicely dressed woman rode and it was really good. Mixed with show from the hill and riding. Really dressage and rising show, quadrille etc. Mixed and musical. You looked at the stable yourself, no tour but fun to see. Easy to take the train from Malaga and close to walking from La Colina station
