You will trek with a local English-speaking guide, a local cook, and mules to carry your luggage. Mount Toubkal 4167m is the highest peak in North Africa, and is a trekking peak involving no climbing but may involve walking in crampons or holding an ice axe for security (November to April). The itinerary has been designed for keen walkers, as the ascent is non-technical, but does involve some easy scrambling and snow slopes. After the first day spent trekking, you will stay at the refuge where you will spend the night, and enjoy Berber hospitality. After an early breakfast the next day, set off and reach the summit as the sun rises, rewarding you with amazing views. The views from the summit are amazing across the mountains to Marrakech to the north, and the start of the Sahara to the south. This was my favorite thing I did in Morocco. It was so beautiful and I had such a great time. Everything was so well organized. The hike itself is moderately challenging-- especially the last day, where you go up and down Toubkal and then back to Imlil, but certainly not undoable: it could be done by an outdoorsy kid. My guide was Mohammad and he was so nice-- you could tell he genuinely loves the area and loves being outdoors in it. He was very conscientious and kind and I felt very safe. I had Mustapha as a muleteer/cook and he was really nice too-- and they seemed very collegial together, you could tell they really liked working together. Honestly if I could do the whole vacation over I would cut out a lot of other stuff I did and places I visited and spent more time hiking in this area instead.

I had an amazing 2 days summiting toubkal with Omar my guide. He was amazing and thanks to 20 years of experience and a great attitude, he made sure that my experience at the mountain would be amazing. The tour includes many meals within the price making it very affordable. Apart from this, all organisation from the side of the organisers with the transport to and from Marrakesh was perfect. Thank you guys I will be back.

We had the best guide Lahcen and cook Mohammed. They were very friendly and made the best Atlas experience for us. Beautiful hikes, good food, good tea, nice accomodation. <3 See you next time!!

It was an excellent activity. My guide was worried all the time that I was enjoying the walk and that we were at the right pace according to my needs.

Great tour with competent guide. Trek wasn't too difficult.
