  • London: City Highlights Bike Tour

Visit London’s must-see sights and attractions by bicycle as well as off-the-beaten-track hot spots that tour buses can’t reach. You’ll hear quirky tales about London’s amazing and sometimes bizarre history on this unique bicycle excursion. You’ll cycle at a comfortable pace along riverside pathways, dedicated bike lanes, and park routes. Possible tour stops include London’s major highlights, including the London Eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace. Other places of interest that you may see include Admiralty Arch, Trafalgar Square, Chinatown, Covent Garden, and St. Paul's Cathedral. • London: River Thames Evening Bike Tour with Beer Tasting

    3. London: River Thames Evening Bike Tour with Beer Tasting

Watch the sun set over the River Thames on a 4-hour evening bike tour in a small group through the heart of London, taking in many iconic city sites, including Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, Sir Christopher Wren’s majestic St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the Globe Theatre. Admire the city’s lights glistening over London Bridge from the comfortable seat of a cruiser bike. Learn the history of this ancient and modern part of the city, full of stories of artists, famous writers, royal residents, and thieves. You will bike at a leisurely pace, but part of the journey is on the road, so a level of competency and confidence is required. But as cycling can be thirsty work, you will pop into one of London's best pubs, dating back more than 400 years (beer tasting included), at a strategic point along the route.

Words cannot express the joy that this trip brought to me. Not only was my guide, Fran, knowledgeable and informative; but just a genuinely great person. I’m literally walking back to the Tube station, smiling. I cannot recommend this more.

  • London: River Thames Small Group Bike Tour

    4. London: River Thames Small Group Bike Tour

Enjoy breathtaking views of London’s landscapes on a leisurely half-day cycling tour of both banks of the River Thames. Cycling in small groups, the tour focuses on the history of the people and city, revealing legends and facts about a city that has united against the Great Plague, suffered from terrible fires, and survived wars. You will be riding down streets once frequented by Shakespeare, Dickens, and Chaucer, as well as catching sight of iconic buildings such as the Tower of London, Shard, and more. Stop for lunch at Borough Market, and savor the aromas and taste of artisan produce at London’s largest and oldest food market (at own expense).

We had a knowledgeable and personable guide who made sure everyone was OK in our whole group of cyclists (different levels of experience). The historical information he presented was captivating and well-selected. I loved riding through some incredible London sights -- the Tower Bridge and the Thames Bank were beautiful to cross on the bike. An exceptional tour. (p.s. I do think 30 mins for a lunch break is a bit short, but since I was the last to arrive from the break, this may be a very personal view :)
