Full description
Begin by being picked up from your accommodation in the city center or the tour meeting point. From there, your guide provides you with information about the weather, the lights' activity, your chances for the evening, and expectations to see the lights on that particular night. From there you are taken to a location most suited to the evening's conditions. Groups are sometimes required to travel deep into Finland in order to find a good spot, so remember to take your passport with you. Once you have reached your chosen location, your guides set up a bonfire before helping you with your camera, setting it up to best capture the Northern lights. Throughout your tour, your guides also serve you hot chocolate and snacks. Later, enjoy a picnic-style barbecue during which you enjoy traditional Norwegian fiskekake (fish burgers), or sausages with tortilla bread. Make the most of this opportunity and take unlimited pictures throughout your tour, with the Northern Lights in the background. If you don't manage to take that perfect shot, high-resolution pictures of the tour will be shared with you the following day. Your guides are also on hand to explain the phenomenon of the Northern Lights as well as some of the traditions, beliefs, and superstitions connected to them. Following your tour, your experience concludes as your guide drops you off to your accommodation close to the city center of Tromsø.

The dream has come true !!!!! A fantastic sight. The guide knew where to take, moved from place to place, in search of the best views. The guide worked professionally, talked a lot, split, showed. He works with professional optics, and as a result, we got high-quality photos and videos. Delight and emotions, from what he saw, there was no end !!!!!!!

Yesterday, we went on a northern lights tour with our guide Mansoor and had a really good experience. We were the only two people. We were picked up in front of the library in the center of Tromsø (if you order on Get your Guide like I did, beware of their written pick-up, it's saying nonesense!) at 18:00, and went out to Kvaløya. We had a beautiful, amazingly clear sky, in a very dark area, and just installed our gear and prepared a bonfire for a while. The activity level that was estimated for the night was low, so we didn't have much hope. We had a nice chat together and saw so many shooting stars, I lost count! The Milky Way was visible too. The lights started getting stronger, and Mansoor helped me finding the right parameters for my camera. I've got so many really nice photos! The guide sent his less than 24h after the end of our expedition. The lights got really active, the entire sky covered. Mansoor offered to take pictures of us several times. We had a really great time!
