Full description

Embark on a guided sledding experience from Tromsø. Take turns directing the sled or simply enjoy the incredible Arctic scenery. After, trade stories around a warm fire with some hot chocolate and cake.

Hop on the comfortable minibus and drive to the kennel on the island of Kvaløya. Once kitted out, head to the kennel and see the 130 Alaskan Huskies, who are always excited to meet guests.

Get a short demonstration on how to drive a sled and feel free to ask any questions. Then, follow your guide and meet your huskies. Each pair, one passenger, and one driver will have their own sled. Enjoy several opportunities to swap between roles once the trip starts. Finally, head out to the snow and follow the guide along the trail. Take photos throughout the trip and take in the incredible landscapes. After your 90-minute sledding adventure, make your way into the Sami Lavvo for hot drinks and Hege's famous homemade chocolate cake.

Trade stories from the trip around the cozy fireplace until it is time to change out of your suits and hop back on the bus. You will be returned to the pickup point.

If we could have given it 10 stars out of 5 we would have! Brilliant from A to Z, the dogs are very very very very well treated, no fear with that. Very good welcome, very good walk and very good snack. One of our favorite activities of our week in Tromso!

Words cannot describe the experience, you just have to do it. The breathtaking landscape, the great dogs who love you at first sight and you can only return that. It's incredibly fun to steer the sled, even if you might be a little nervous at first ;) I've never experienced anything remotely amazing. If I come back to Norway I will definitely do this trip again! - and until then I will certainly not forget this experience! Thanks to the great team and the great dogs!

The sledding was incredible fun. It really felt like the owners cared about all the dogs and the dogs clearly loved the sledding. It was great getting to meet and cuddle all the dogs and the sledding was just really good fun. Tea and cake in the hut round the fire at the end was a lovely added bonus. Would highly recommend this excursion
