Full description
Depart the city at 9:00 AM and board a comfortable catamaran to explore the breathtaking fjords around Tromsø. Marvel at the scenery while your experienced sailing crew navigates where Viking longships once sailed. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the wildlife. The fjords are alive with animal activity in the wintertime with seabirds, eagles, seals, and massive fish gathering to feed and survive the challenging climate. Learn about marine life, try to catch your own fish, and when you've built up an appetite the skipper will prepare a delicious soup from the catch of the day (vegetarian options are also available). After an unforgettable experience sailing in the Arctic, return to central Tromsø around 2:00 PM.

We had the best time doing the Arctic Sailing Safari! Sailing through the fjords was an unforgettable experience, and the tour guides made it 10 times better! They were very kind to us and walked us all through how to fish. We were provided plenty of snacks, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate! All together amazing experience and would definitely do it again!

It was a beautiful day to spend on the water touring Tromso’s island and learning about the region. Robin and Sosna were fantastic guides and shared their knowledge of the local history and wildlife. They were so committed to making the trip memorable for us, not to mention they’re great chefs. They made us the best fish soup! I didn’t care to fish but once we started, it was such fun. We relaxed, and the views of Tromso from the water was breathtaking. You are not guaranteed to see wildlife, but it’s still a very worthwhile trip, and Robin and Sosna are amazing people and guides! If you get a chance to take this tour, you won’t be disappointed.

Gabriel and Mikhail were fantastic guides! They were very sociable and shared their valuable knowledge with us. Lovely locations shown throughout. Very fun time fishing. Comfortable catamaran. Delicious fish soup prepared with the cod caught on board. Great experience, highly recommend :)
