Full description

Go on an evening dog sledding adventure in the quiet northern wilderness outside of Tromso. Glide past picturesque fjords and take in the quiet beauty of the Arctic.

Get picked up from the city center of Tromsø and go to the wilderness center. Upon arrival at the camp, put on some warm winter clothing and go through a demonstration on how to drive the sled.

Share a sled and a dog team with one other person as one person drives and the other sits back and enjoys the ride. Take in the quiet beauty of the Arctic and keep your eyes on the sky for a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis. Dig into a hot meal in a traditional northern Norwegian setting around an open fire in a reindeer herder’s tent when you get back to camp. Then, board the bus back to the city and reflect on a memorable adventure.

Real one of a kind experience, can recommend, staff were very nice too. Going at night is a bit of a gamble though, if the sky is clear and you can see the lights then there's nothing like it, but the chances of that happening are low, and you miss the scenery

Really helpful enthusiastic, professional and interested staff. (Thanks Pedro). Very well organised and we were lucky to see the lights. Plenty of time to take photos and look around. Sledging was such fun. Dogs were lovely. Supper not amazing but everything else made for a really nice special evening and we’ll organised. It was an exceptionally cold night we went but if you just sit in the sledge the whole time you will get a bit cold despite extra gear provided (which was all good quality) so dress up warm.We were lucky to have the lights over our head almost all the time even on return coach journey.lovely evening and coach trip out and back made for a nice long trip and countryside was stunning

Great tour with beautiful northern lights. The bus ride is a bit long, but in the camp itself the people are really motivated and friendly and the offer is great.
