Great experience! I went in late March so it was still cold but we were fortunate enough to have clear skies and good weather and it made the views unbelievable. If you've never seen fjords, then this experience is worth every cent. Boarding process was smooth, departed and returned promptly, 2 toilets on board, thermal suit provided, lunch served and free-flow coffee, tea and snacks! (For lunch, they made sure check for food restrictions.) We didn't get to see much wildlife other than deer, porpoise, ducks and seagulls - understandable as these are wild animals. Our guide was great, cheerful and upbeat. I didn't fish but my boat caught at least 5 fish in total! Some brought their caught fish back to BnB and some were cooked for lunch. We were free to roam the deck whenever we wanted. This is one of the more affordable tours; even if it seems pricey, it's worth it. If you're worried about cold in winter, you should wear extra layers and bring beanie, gloves and scarf.

The guides make this journey more than just a cruise. Personal attention to all to guide your experience. We didnt know about the fishing but it was fun to watch others. Tomas filleted the fish and we watched him make then serve fish soup. The crew worked very hard to summon an eagle who finally appeared. Other than that not much wildlife.

We had a lot of fun during the boat ride, everyone working there is really nice, funny and ready to answer any questions you have. The scenery is beautiful and the food was really good. During the ride we caught a huge wolffish and before we left they cut us a nice filet to take home and the jaw/tooth as a special souvenir. So it’s definitely worth it to try your best during the fishing part ;) I would definitely recommend this if you’re staying in Tromsø.
