Oh, the crowd! :) The getyourguide assisstant wasn't very helpful at first, but at the end she could manage our tickets. But in her defence the whole entering process was caothic, because of the heat and covid... I do not understand why we got a vocher, why couldn't we got e-tickets... just like we received for the visitation of Pisa...? To get the tickets were sooo complicated becuse the loval hetyourguide sign wasn't recognisable and the lacking knowledge of English language. But we could manage in the end!
This tour was one of the best events we experienced in 2020 properly. We been in Lucca in October and browsed through the options of guided tours. Instead of a usual walking tour, we decided to go with this special version as we are both music fans. It was a perfect mix of classical & modern musical explanations combined with a lot of insights into the city and its history. We will come again the next time we are around.
We were met outside the museum by the rep and given our tickets. We went to see Boy David and WOW! He really takes your breath away! we had enough time in the museum to see everything and the best thing of all was that they allowed cameras and we came away with some great shots of the masterpiece. Well worth the money we paid and highly recommend!
The skip the line process is very seamless. Including having to verify ones vaccination status. Once inside the David is mind blowing. It pays to do the skip the Line at earliest. The galleries fill up very quickly. Also the temporary galleries of late gothic and early Renaissance works of art…loved the intimacy of it
Fabulous and very professional one hour show. Great selection that differs every evening. Well worth going and hearing the amazing singers also with a fabulous acoustic
