Antonietta made us feel welcome. We made bruschetta, tiramusi and pasta together. She doesn't speak English, so there was a translator. When we were done cooking, we had a really nice dinner together with her family and some friends. It was special, because we were invited in her family's home and to be surrounded with Italians. It was a nice local experience and the food was good.
Good paced tour, taking in main sightseeing places and with great tastings. At market we had four different ravioli then several different truffle products, balsamic vinegar and vin santo with cantucci, some local vege/bread dishes and finished with gelato. Great selection of food and it was a good small group to go with. Guide was very friendly and informative of Florence.
We tried lots of different local food and wines plus coffee - a real variety and it was all delicious- go prepared to try everything- it all tastes better in Florence!
Very well organized, attention to detail, delightful host, and a fun learning experience.
Would recommend to anyone who is interested in eating outside of the tourist traps
