This outing was amazing! After a quick lesson we were off driving these beauties through Florence and then out into the countryside. Our guide, Dadio (sp) was great. He offered many insights into Italian culture on our stops. First we drove to San Miniato al monte. We were able to go into the church and look around. The view of Florence from this high hill is amazing. We drove in and out of little towns, through narrow streets, seeing olive groves and beautiful Tuscan countryside. We stopped at an overlook and then at an olive grove. The next stop was at a farmhouse where lunch was waiting for us. It was delicious! We enjoyed relaxing with the others before driving back into town. Thank you for such a memorable experience!
My wife and I had one of the best days of our lives driving a 1968 Fiat 500. Lorenzo is an amazing guide and a wonderful person. He took us through spectacular countryside and was very concerned for everyone’s safety. Advise to customers: Do NOT overestimate your driving ability, especially on a Vespa. Either ride with someone who has experience, or partner up with someone who can drive a stick and take a Fiat. (The Vespas and Fiats travel together in one large group.) The lunch/wine tasting was a fantastic experience. Ivan was a superb host who gave an enjoyable and informative tour of the winery. We stopped for gelato on the return trip. This was a day we’ll always treasure. Very highly recommended.
Our guide Giuliano was very friendly and guided us very well. The car is quite funny and we had no problem to drive it. We were picked up at the right time and place. The road is very beautiful and the winery is interesting with good food. Really recommended for those who likes to drive.
The old Fiat 500 was absolutely a joy to drive through the beautiful countryside of Italy. Our guide was great and very accommodating. The villa and winery was so beautiful, I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Florence who can drive a manual car.
Alex was an amazing guide. The tour was fun, the views were amazing, the lunch was delicious, great tour.
